Vista gadget

Question

In my spare time I made a quick and dirty gadget for using the www.spanishdict.com through the vista gadget sidebar. It works fine, but it is waaaaay ugly I have attached it so that anyone that wants to "improve" its looks can have a try. All I want for me is to be able to download it, if it becomes better, from... someplace

Edit Notes : I re-uploaded the file, after it was corrected with the VERY hard work of Quentin. As he discovered, the file must be renamed to SpanishDict.gadget once downloaded. Thanx Quentin!

Hehehehehe!!! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL! No, I don't work for Microsoft, though I could And it was no hard work making this, believe me. It would be if I made it beatiful Glad you liked it, though, for me its very useful 'cause I don't have to search that damned browser tab every time I wanna translate a word, I simply press WindowsKey+Space

Success! And you are absolutely correct. That is the ugliest gadget that I have ever seen. It works well, however. Kudos! By the way, you do not work for Microsoft, do you? Something seems very familiar about a program being offered as turnkey and the suckers (oops, users) end up helping you debug the program. That's a joke (unless you do work for Microsoft...then it's an indictment). Thanks again for sharing the results of your hard work.

Damn! Why do such small things have to be so complicated''? Sorry for the SECOND mistake I made. You see, the files should be zipped without the folder! I have re-re-re-uploaded it in this post and NOW it should work fine. If not shoot me...

By the way, even though I upload it with a .gadget extension, the browser changes it to zip, so it is necessary to change the extension. Sorry about that also :(

I still can't get it. Sorry, I normally don't even use the sidebar so I'm not familiar with loading gadgets that aren't stored online. Could you give me a little more step by step instructions? Here's what I have done so far:
double clicked your spanishdict.gadget link. It still comes up spanishdict.gadget.zip so I removed the zip extension and stored it on my desktop as spanishdict.gadget. At this point the gadget has not appeared on my sidebar. Tried dragging icon to sidebar...No, that's not how you do it.
Tried using add a gadget...recently installed gadgets... and ...All gadgets. Cannot find this gadget.
So how do you add the gadget to the sidebar once it has been installed?

Sorry about this guys! To install the gadget simply remove the .zip extension leaving the file name to SpanishDict.gadget. Or you can use the new file I uploaded in this post. Afterwards you can simply double click it and Vista will install it in the correct folder.

How do you load or install it onto your sidebar? I saw the HTML, XML, Javascript, stylesheet files and image files , but how do you use the "add a gadget" command to find and load your gadget'

Your attachment does not open and I do not understand your question.
