embutido
My wife has some stomach problems and has been told by the doctor to eat nothing "embutido" but I cannot find out what it means either in a book nor on the internet. I guess it means something like spicy but what exactly does it mean and what word does come from.

An embutido (Spanish) is a type of sausage found in Spain, Portugal, the Philippines, and Central and South America.
It generally contains hashed meat, generally pork, seasoned with aromatic herbs or spices (pepper, red pepper, paprika, garlic, rosemary, thyme, cloves, ginger, nutmeg, etc.) that is served wrapped in the skin of the pig's intestines. Mass-produced sausages of these types are often wrapped in a type of artificial but edible skin.
they are products like: sausage, ham.... mostly pork products.
es la comida que esta demasiado procesada.. por ejemplo:tocino, salchicha ..
