'danzar' o 'bailar'
What is the difference in meaning / usage between 2 verbs meaning "to dance": Danzar and Bailar'
Thank you Victoria and Dunia!
"Danzar" exists in Spain but it is hardly used. You can hear "danza (clásica)", but "danzar" should be avoided. It is a formal verb and you can only find it in literary contexts, very strange in speaking.
I think both are the same in meaning and usage...
Me gusta bailar = me gusta danzar
but is more common to say bailar than danzar. Is understandable if you say danzar though...
I see no difference, except that bailar is more common, but nothing else.
