Rhymes, couplets, brief verses. English and Spanish
Call them bite-sized poems. Call it Internet poetry. I plan to post some mini-verses here. Feel free to post some of your own.
There is one rule here that does not apply anywhere else. Make it anything from a pithy commentary to a light-hearted rhyme, but it must be a couplet. 2 lines minimum, 4 lines maximum.
Feel free to post it in english or spanish.

In my experience, high school texts are very sloppy when it comes to mathematical terminology. Perhaps that's why the slight distinction between "range" and "image" is important in my mind. In the high school where I taught, the geometry text said (well, implied) that a square is not a rectangle. (Actually, a square is always a rectangle [4-sided polygon with four right angles], but a rectangle may or may not be a square; I say this just in case the words don't translate directly to Spanish.) You should try to teach from a text like that, and instill any sense of reasoning in the students. To quote the professor in the Chronicles of Narnia: "Logic! Logic! What do they teach them in these schools'"
