"Gadarenos" were the people from Gadara the old capital from Palestine. An example of this is "newyorkers" who are the people from the city of New York.
I think that the word is miss spell, the correct one is "ganaderos" instead of "gadarenos". It means a kind of cow boy, a person that takes care of cow, etc
I'm learning Spanish by reading the bible in Spanish. I want to know the meaning of every word. Thank you very much.
Thank you very much. The problem is that in English proper nouns begin with capital letters, while in Spanish, with small letters.
Anthony's guess is the most likely one: Gadara is the old capital of Palestine. Does it make sense in the story you're reading'
