Ya al otro lado de la lago, en tierra de los gadarenos, dos endemoniados le salieron al encuentro. I can't find the word "gadarenos" in my small dictionary, could anybody help me'

"Gadarenos" were the people from Gadara the old capital from Palestine. An example of this is "newyorkers" who are the people from the city of New York.

I think that the word is miss spell, the correct one is "ganaderos" instead of "gadarenos". It means a kind of cow boy, a person that takes care of cow, etc

Thank you very much. The problem is that in English proper nouns begin with capital letters, while in Spanish, with small letters.

Maybe Gadarenos is a name of a place or something...
Gadarhnovÿ from Gadara (a town east of the Jordan)
