Evelin, once again I encourage you to give us more context, such as the full sentence in which the word appears. There is no one-on-one translation of techie in Spanish, so the translation will vary with the context.

An example, and nothing more, is to say "Es un manitas de la tecnología."

But we just can't translate this without the context. {sigh}

it definitely refers to a person meaning somebody who`s life is all about technics and computers. so i'm kinda looking for a spanish word to express it in a less formal way..smile

You have to tell us the context, because the words can both be either a noun (a person) or an adjective.
