Ok, it makes sense now.
"Don't tell me that she got angry... that is, because you belong to us..."
This is the entire quote. Someone posted that they were now single and another person responded with the following "Single'''? ¿Qué pasó con Renee....'No me digas que se encuernó...digo, porque tu nos perteneces...HELLO!!!!"
Ok, so what is this person saying?
I'm looking to finish the sentence, Don't tell me that.....
can someone fill in the blank? Don't tell me that she grew horns or Don't tell me that you grew horns? or cheated or whatever.
I got as far as encorner - to gore also but I needed some puerto rican slang added in, you know some sort of idiom.
Thanks!!
encornar means to gore
I didn't know the term either, so I asked my wife. She is from Córdoba Spain (the home of El Cordobes). Her uncle was a bullfighter so she grew up in that environment and immediately knew what the term meant.
Really? I didn't know that term...
well, she got angry then'?
I thought she might have got "cuernos" , horns, which a Spanish person uses when somebody is unfaithful....
"se encuernó" is the term for when a bull becomes aggressive (bravo) and lowers his horns towards you. Depending on the context, I suppose it could apply to other situations.
i'm not sure what "se encuernó" means. could it be "se encueró" misspelled? if it were, i believe this would say "Don't tell me that you undressed." (a Ud.)
