In printing terms bundles and turns refer to packages of materials . Its simply a naming system to refer to groups of materials. I have looked around and found a few defintions but I want to make sure that these are commonly used and they are specific to the industry. I found the following words.

bulto
mazo
paquete

Do these words work well? Are they common'

If you are a member at WR, just ask your question, and I'm sure someone will answer. If you are not a member, I recommend you sign up, because your questions are often technical, and this forum doesn't seem to have many people with expertise in your field. It's sort of WR Lite. wink

Thanks. I had look in a few other technical forms and they didn't have anything respecting bundles. Thanks for the link. I bet they've got something

bulto: a bulk, could be anything bulky

mazo : hammer

paquete : bundle/packet/parcel

These are the first things that come to mind seeing the words in Spain.

Nate, I have a feeling that you'll get a better answer to this question at the Word Reference forum, which has more technical translators as members. You can also put it in the technical category there.
