Would that affect anything if the laptop still has 26 alphabet keys'
Actually, there's another possible solution, which I have used:
Go to google and search for "ASCII table" and it should bring up a table which includes all of the Spanish language characters. After you find a page with a list with which you are satisfied, favorite it and just pull that up if you ever have to use a Spanish character. Once the page is pulled up, just highlight-copy-and-paste the character you want into the text you're typing.
I hope that helps!
Actually, if you have MS Word, you can open that up and choose:
Insert > Insert Character
... then just choose the character you want, have it insert it into the document, then copy-and-paste. You can get a lot of crazy characters by doing that.
That's how I got around that problem. I have a laptop, too. :D
You could still have pointed out that I spelt the word "pad" incorrectly. See above. I really must stop looking at your posts as I am catching your bad spelling habits. hehehe
Ohhh, I had no idea...you are the specialist..

I think the only way for this to work on a laptop is to go into "control panel" and then "Regional and Language" options. You can then change to the Spanish settings.

The shortcut functions using the ALT key plus numbers mentioned on Chris's page do not work on a laptop as it does not have the numerical apd to the side.
