I received an invitation that said, "Por favor, no faltes." What does faltes mean?

Thanks!

Literally, it means "Don't be missing", but a better translation would be "Make sure you attend", or something similar.

Hi Marian, the verb is faltar.

discovered the "double click" function yet? Just click on the word you are looking for and it will lead you directly to the dictionary and the different "discussions" with the word involved.
I hope that's useful.

In this case, the meaning is:

You simply must come!!
