this insturment on spanish tv?

as I was watching the spanish tv channel I saw during a comercial a man playing an instrument. I'v never seen it on english speaking channels. the man was playing what looked like a little lap keyboard, but there was a tube on the side. he had this tube linked up to his mouth, and appeared to be blowing into it. it seems that his blowing into it made the little keyboard play as he was hitting the keys.

what is this instrument called, and is he blowing into it, or is something else going on with this instrument?

I was just wondering cause I've never seen anyone play such a thing.
