What is the proper term to use for breast in Spanish? I perform breast biopsies on Spanish speaking patients. Is it correct to say: necessita hacer un biopsia de su seno? or is it better to say: su pecho? or something else?
Gracias!

hmmm, sounds more elegant , no doubt

Heidi, I don't want to argue with a woman on this, but I think that "cáncer de mama" is more common than "cáncer de pecho".

Hola Jane: serious illness...

Really, it depends more on the country...I would say pecho (Spain)
