I have a necklace that has two words on it ... one is "deseo" and on the other side it says "sueno" with a tilda over the "n." I believe the second word means "dream" but cannot find a match for the word "deseo." Any clues what that word might mean? I want to give this as a gift to a Spanish speaking friend but want to know what it says first.
Thanks for any help.

Hola,

"Deseo" can also be a noun, that is "[a] wish". So your words can either be two verbs (I dream, I wish) or two nouns ([a] dream, [a] wish). That's my guess.

It's from the verb desear = to want, wish, desire
deseo = I want, I wish, I desire
