A friend of mine is doing a vacation bible school for some Costa Rican children. The theme is of the "Wild West" (American culture). They are making picture frames in the style of the old "WANTED" posters. She's looking for a translation of "Wanted by God" that the Costa Rican children would understand. We have come up with literal translations but wondering if anyone is more familiar with spoken Spanish in Costa Rica that mey get the point across better. So far, we are considering "Dios lo busca" or "Buscado por Dios" Any suggestions'

This is tough, because the normal way to say "Wanted: dead or alive" is "Se busca: vivo o muerto." You could replace se busca with buscado, but that makes it sound as if the person has been searched for, rather than that the person is being searched for.

If you make a poster that looks like a wanted poster, and write "Se buscan: niños de Dios" (Wanted: children of God) or something like that, I think it would convey your point.

In the future, please put your question words in the title.
