The spelling should be "me encantas." It means that you delight that person, he thinks you are wonderful. I don't know if I would translate it as "you intrigue me," which means "I can't quite figure you out, but I'm very interested in trying."

someone said to me, that sounded like "me encontos" and told me it meant, you intrigue me. he is from spain, do you think he meant something different.

You can say "Me intrigas," but it may have a slightly different nuance. You can also say "Me fascinas," which is "You fascinate me."
