Only one thing in the first case, if the doctor would be a woman you can say
¨Necesito ver a la doctora¨ , "doctora" is the form female of doctor.

I am still learning Spanish but i think I may be able to help. In Spanish many words have either masculine or feminine forms.
You need to say "I need to see the doctor" as "Necesito ver al doctor" because doctor is a masculine word in Spanish (whether the person is male or female) the word is masculine... El is used for all masculine words
Necesito ver a el doctor is the way its supposed to be said, however the al is a shortened version of a el
La is used for feminine words. Fiesta is a feminine word and should have La in front of it. If you want the statement "I want to go to the party" You should use "Quiero ir a la fiesta"
