what is the meaning of words "furias rojas" given for Spain National team

No, it means "red fury", although I don't know if this translation is very accurate.
it means..well red '''
The football Spanish team is and has been called "la furia roja" or "la furia española" because it is supposed that people from Spain have a lot of passion and rage in their behaviour and nature. We live in the south of Europe, so we have to be hot, intense, brave....all these clichés. All this applying to "furia". The adjective "roja" obviusly for the colour of the t-shirt, but also it has connotations of all the mentioned attributes.
Eddy, the Spanish football team has been called "la furia española", because "furia" is femenine (It doesn't matter that applies to "equipo" that is masculine).
You did very well Mr Eddy
I was trying to upload the question and did not know how

Interesting how the name, and I didn't know it was the name for the national side, furias rojas, doesn't apply to the team as it would be masculine ie equipo (m).

For some reason you posted this question twice. I have deleted the extra one.
The Furious Reds, mainly I suppose because of their shirt colour. Will all Americans excuse my spelling of colour.
