the context is the technical reading of medical diagnostics: "angulos pontocerebelosos normales"

I cannot find a translation for the entire word or for the prefix "ponto." Cerebelosos is obvious enough but ponto is what is stumping me. Any ideas'

This is what I have found:
pontocerebellar (pon·to·cer·e·bel·lar) (pon'to-ser''-bel´'r) 1. pertaining to the pons and the cerebellum. 2. pertaining to the pontocerebellum (neocerebellum [TA]).

pontocerebellum (pon·to·cer·e·bel·lum) (pon'to-ser''-bel´um) [ponto- + cerebellum] [TA] the portion of the cerebellum whose afferent inflow is predominantly supplied by corticopontocerebellar fibers, roughly corresponding to the cerebellar hemispheres; therefore, the term is sometimes equated with neocerebellum, which is the anatomical division of the cerebellum comprising the lateral parts, including most of the hemispheres and the middle portion of the vermis. Cf. spinocerebellum and vestibulocerebellum.
This is where I found it. Maybe you will be able to find more information there.
