Thank you everyone for your replies. This guy is from Spain, does that make a difference? I know there are some differences throughout the world in the spanish language. The "I'm really into you"... sounds like the meaning he would have meant, he wouldn't have meant "I love you". Since I only spent 3 days with him...lol!

I think "I love you" is a bit strong for "me encantas." The literal meaning is "You charm me." For example, when someone is introduced to you, you could respond "Encantado," or "Charmed" (charmed in this sense is old-fashioned in English, but not in Spanish).

However, given the first part of the sentence, which means "You really got me hot," the last part should probably be translated as "I'm crazy about you" or "I'm really into you." Something like that.

Hola Gina y Tanner:

Querer : to want, to wish, to wish for, to need, to love, to like

I love you: Te quiero
- but can be expressed in many phrases and ways. See the link I suggested below in my another reply.

An example about 'encantar' as to love
I once asked the question:
Do you like it? - Te gusta'
Reply:
No, me encanta! - No, I love it! ( as in 'thrilled', 'enchanted')

hmmm
I dont know if there is an exact translation but literally it means.

You put me at 1000º c, I love you.

Me pusiste a 1000 means You made me crazy.
So

You made me crazy, I love you.
