Traslating a word in spanish
I am needing to know what exitada means in english'

This confusion happens because the (Latin) American way to pronounce the soft "c" is like an "s", so the "xc" in "excitada" is pronounced as /ks/+/s/ = /ks/. In Spain the "c" sounds like an English "th", so this particular spelling mistake doesn't happen (we have others).

Hi Lorena
It comes from the verb excitar - to excite, to arouse, to get worked up over something. Excitado is the past participle and "excitada" is used here because it relates to a female. Note that I have added the missing "c".
