Need help with translation

Question

I have received an e-mail from a friend in Honduras ---| there is a word I cannot translate. Please help. (estrañamos) . The sentence reads ==Estrañamos su presencia en Yuscaran.

My guess is that it's either a typo or a misspelling of "extrañamos" , which would translate
We miss you.
Literally, "we miss your presence in Yuscaran"

There are a couple of mistakes in the sentence: there is an accent missing in "Yuscarán", and the first word is misspelled. That's why you can't find it in the dictionary.

EXtrañamos su presencia en Yuscarán.
We miss your presence in Yuscaran.

The x at the end of a syllable or at the beginning of a word is relaxed from /ks/ to /s/ in most countries (and it is regarded as standard pronunciation); that's why people make this mistake.
