What is the best way to translate the following sentences? I know atrancarse and pegado, but I'm not sure they always fit the context.

I got stuck trying to translate this word.
My car got stuck in the ditch and I couldn't get out.
My baby tried to climb between the couch and the armchair and he got stuck.
He wasn't there, so I stuck a note on his monitor.

No puedo traducir esta palabra ni un poquito.
Mi coche se atrancó en la zanja, y no alcanzé a sacarlo.
Mi bebé intrató a subir entre la sofa y el sillon, y se atrancó.
No estaba a su escritorio, así que entonces pegé una nota a su monitor de computadora.

For the last one, "He wasn't there, so I stuck a note on his monitor", I would made a couple of corrections.
No estaba EN su escritorio, así que pegUé una nota EN EL monitor de SU computadora.

Hi Natasha, you can use for stuck, Atascar: Quedarse detenido por algún obstáculo, no pasar adelante

Mi coche se atascó en la sanja y no pude sacarlo.
Mi bebé trató de subir entre el sofá y el sillón y se atascó.

' In Mexico is used also "atoró", verbo atorar: atascar u obstruír.
' Atrancar: Asegurar la puerta por dentro con una tranca (RAE)

For "I got stuck trying to translate this word" I would say: "No se me ocurría nada para traducir esa palabra" or "No se me ocurrió ninguna traducción de esa palabra"

Looks good to me. Obviously there isn't just one word that will work for all situaciones but the words you have used seem to work well. I have also used quedarse when refering to getting stuck.
