NEED HELP
Primero Senor Navarro hablo a Carlos que hizo trabjar en el restaurante.
Does that translate to " First Mr. Navarro told Carlos that he had to work in the restaurant." ?
How do you say, " was killed" in spanish also.

Oh! My bad, I must have missed that. Thanks for the correction.
not necessary, but true
Hi manudt, I said this in my first post, by the way.
And we both have made the same mistake: it should be:
Se enteró de que ....
In Madrid we tend to have"queísmo" (not using the de when necessary).
OK, glad I could help you understand! (y gracias para tu piropo!)
yes, it is very good...
In this context, learned means to find out information.
Se enteró que su abuela se murió.
Is this a good translation'
Primero el señor Navarro le dijo a Carlos que tenía que trabajar en el restaurante.
"was killed" = was ---|> past of verb "ser or estar" in this case you have to use "es" in its past form "fue"
..................... = "killed" --> past of verb "asesinar" in this case "asesinado"
so according to that: "was killed" = "fue asesinado"
and "She learned that her grandmother died" I have a question here. You mean learn as an understand way'
I think its "he told carlos his job in the resaurant" and I kno dead is Muerto but i dont speak that well spanish so....
Kevin, this is a question for "vocabulary".
Primero le contó el señor Navarro a Carlos que tenía que trabajar en un restaurante.
Ela supo/se enteró que su abuela había muerto.
Please give your own try next.
