Please help with the following translation.
One should not confuse his accessibility to clients and his easy approachable demeanor for him being a push over.
I don't think this one will be a literal translation.

Can you get away with "con una persona facil de manejar" in Spanish? For some reason I want to write "con ser una persona facil de manejar" or is that just in English?

My try:

"No debe confundirse la capacidad de Fulano de ralacionarse con sus clientes y su comportamiento amigable con una persona fácil de manejar"

pushover podría ser también "una persona débil de carácter"

Hi Sally
One reason for members not replying could be that the vocabulary section was so busy, posts were getting knocked off by new posts before people had a chance to see them. We have now altered the system to show 10 posts at a time. Hope this resolves this particular problem.

I would change the wording around and say something more along the lines of:

El hecho de que sea muy accesible y abierto con los clientes y que tenga un modo de ser muy amable no quiere decir que sea ni tonto ni facil de engañar.

'one should not confuse' could come across from 'no se debe confundir'. you might, however, consider switching the sentence around to make it easier to translate. you could then use a form of significar. for example, his accessibility and demeanor do not mean/indicate that he is a pushover.
