I think it's "cucharada" for "teaspoon." In fact, I'm almost certain it is.

Since you mentioned "cooking"..I was just wondering...does anyone out there know how to make "empanadas"'? I have lived in Argentina for a couple years when I was young, and I super miss that food~~~
