Well as usual, the more context you can give us the more accurate the translation will be, but just a generic translation could be something like this:

Ella también empleó objectos para acordarse de sus padres y la casa que le pertenecía a ellos
Ella también usó objectos para recordar sus padres y su casa (y la casa que tenían)

I'm open to other translations though
