Do you like "tapas" and do you have them in your country'? Well, Madrid is famous for its tapas (small rations of free food) which most bars offer free with your drink.
We are celebrating the third "festival" this year, it was so huge the first year that they are celebrating it in a sport hall!!

Look ath this for the Spanish text and a photo:(el texto en español)

If you are in Madrid by any chance: ¡¡the entrance is free, one drink:1', one tapa:1'!!

Heidita,
What is "ventresca".. it didn't come up in the dictionary when I clicked on it.
I lived in Madrid YEARS ago.. and oh, how I miss good tapas, and, equally as much, the "tapas lifestyle" (spending evenings wandering from bar to bar, a drink here, a tapa there, such a great city for wandering)

In Barcelona "tapas" are not free, you have to pay for them and they are not cheap at all, in fact is an expensive choice as a meal.

In Barcelona what bars offer free with your drink is a "pica-pica", that cannot be considered "food", although tasty, as it only serves to spend the time and not to fill your stomach. Popcorn, for example, is what we get free in a bar.

Hay una cadena de restaurantes en inglaterra que se llama "La Tasca". A pesar de que las comidas son buenas, en realidad, no son baratos. Se necesita cuatros elecciónes para hacer una comida y cada plato cuesta a eso de 4/5 euros.
