I would like to know if the word 'pericose' is at all Spanish. It is not in my dictionary, though it is close to "perico' (parakete) & 'perico entre ellas' (slang for lady's man).

Hi Heidita. Unfortunately, that's difficult. It is someone's chosen name on a dating site. She is a Spanish teacher, so I was hoping. It sounds Italian, so I found an Italian dictionary online that had a cognate 'percuotere' which means to smite, so that seems weird!
