I would like to .....

Hola todos!

Could someone tell me if this is the correct translation "I would like to take photos of..."
Sacaría fotos de ...

Also, in a reading comprehension test there was question which asked ÿl dice que el primo no puede venir a la puerta porque está en su cuna'(Does he say that the cousin can't come to the door because he's in his crib') In the actual text he said "Lo siento, senor pero no pude sacarlo de la cuna (Sorry, but I couldn't get him out of the crib.) Would you agree that they're one and same? I marked true because logically the outcome is the same. Any ideas?

Cheers

Sacaría fotos de = I would take photos of

In addition to the suggested "Me gustaría sacar fotos de...," you can express your idea with "Quisiera sacar fotos de..."

As to your test, I don't really understand what you are saying, but the two phrases don't seem to me to match up logically. You have translated them correctly, though.

The common translation would be: "Me gustaría sacar fotos de..."

Sacaría fotos de ...
I dont think it is correct because it implies a second condition.

Sacaría fotos de mi casa, si el día estuviera soleado.
o

Sacaría fotos de mi casa, pero está lloviendo.

It is very similar to english second conditional.

ÿl dice que el primo no puede venir a la puerta porque está en su cuna.
Lo siento, señor pero no puedo sacarlo de la cuna.

I do not know how the text was arranged buy I would say that your answer was right.
