The grammar looks pretty good, but you wouldn't to repeat the same word in a sentence, you can change "el verano" at the ending for "durante este tiempo" or "durante las vacaciones"
No es acertado, Eddy.
Se puede decir: Mi nombre es Manda o Me llamo manda.
