Thanks, Heidita! I'm thinking it might be a mis-spelling, as the person that I'm corresponding with tends to "alter" words slightly and type several words into one (nospacesinbetween). : ) I looked online and found this sentence:
"Personalmente prefiero los cultivos ecológicos; es decir, nada de hormonas, ni preparados químicos ni chuschus mata bichos (bueno... "vacilus Turigensis" si, que eso no es un chuschús, es otro bicho)."
The article had to do with questionable agricultural crops, but it was the only use of the word I could find other than it being used as a nickname. That, and a picture of a baby sucking his thumb, saying he had a "Chuschus" habit... Thanks again, I appreciate your help!
