thanks, I hadn't ran accross that one yet...
thanks, hey, try to say boxisticamente 3 times fast... I still am having a time getting it out of my mouth!!!!!
I bet you'll find many or most of these at http://www.wordreference.com/.
BTW, it's contender in English (in case that wasn't just a typo).
Found some but wait to get the ok from a native
boxeador = boxer
pugilista = "
muñones = gloves someplace else has guantes for gloves
fajador = loosely translates to brawler
boxisticamente = grabs center stage from his opponent, I guess before the match
cuadrilátero = boxing ring
combate = match
Wouldn't you think there would be an Eng/Sp translation glossary somewhere'
Thanks, I'll take anything I can get!!!
thanks, that's perfect!!!
I've been searching the web but all I can come up with is
cuenta de protección. , Standing 8 count
peso fuerte heavyweight, peso gallo bantamweight, peso ligero lightweight,
peso medio middleweight
peso mosca flyweight, peso pesado heavyweight peso pluma featherweight
I watch a lot of fights on Mexican television channels and have picked up these weight catagories.
peso money --also means weight.
