Hi, yes I have been in Spain að few times and the last time was now in the end of May until 13th of June. I was in La Marina a town situated between Alicante and Toreveja. I am from Iceland so the weather in Spain is what I like most!!

Yes, I've been there twice, most recently 2 years ago. I loved it but it was summer and very hot. The food is fabulous, the Spanish people very friendly. It's a vibrant and colourful place. People generally tolerated my attempts to speak Spanish and corrected me kindly when I made mistakes. I loved the lifestyle of early morning activity followed by the siesta time, then later on people generally take an afternoon walk and have late dinner preferring to stay up and socialise. A far cry from New Zealand country lifestyle. Plus the art is amazing - Picasso, Dali, Gaudi! A visual feast for art lovers. The only thing I didn't like was the Costa del Sol which is full of tourists, fish n' chip shops and tasteless bars, I think it has lost it's Spanish identity. I wonder why you are asking? Are you thinking of going'

I really liked Spain when I visited, I've been to Alicante and Barcelona (well I stayed in Salou but we visited the city a lot). The people are really friendly and it is a relaxed country (for a tourist). But, because i am from England, I tired of how yellow and parched the land is and missed the green of home.
