Hello,

I'm translating a phrase and would like to know if a female says, "I'm not good," would she say, "Yo no buena?" . . . or "bueno?"

I welcome your answers.

Thanks!

Estoy buena ===> I am hot (in Argentina at least)

Soy buena ===> I'm good

It's a lot better if you mean the first. We men like bad girls.

buena for female good.

you need a verb....

(Yo) no soy buena.

The Yo is optional, and usually left out because "soy" already contains "Yo"...it it were You are not good it would be No eres buena, etc.

For your information, mala is the opposite of buena, so you could say:

Soy mala.

Unless you mean I am a bad person. - ray76, Oct 16, 2017
