I'm so confused with these Objecto directo y indirecto problems. I think I got everything wrong. Can someone tell me what I did wrong on these?

No debes___! (traer)

I put: 1.queja 2. digo 3. la 4. les 5. les 6. le 7. trae

Hello, Jennifer.

(quejar)

Please look up quejar on this site. I think you will instantly find something useful.

2) Quiero ___ un videojuego a mi amigo. (dar)

Please look up the conjugation of dar on this site, and see whether you still think that digo is correct.

3) ¿Quieres alquilar una pelicula comica? Si, ___ quiero alquilar.

Here your answer is la. That is the appropriate direct object pronoun for pelicula. Well done.

Notice that when there are two verbs together (Quieres alquilar), the first is conjugated and the second remains in the infinitive form. Now, go back and have another look at numbers 1 and 2.

What are you buying, and for whom? Tickets, for your cousin. That's what you need to say in the blank, using pronouns.

Notice again, please, that comprar remains in the infinitive.

5) Mis padres ___ dan dinero para depositarlo.

To whom do the parents give money? Could be anyone, I suppose: the Trumps, the Chicago Bears, I dunno. As a guess, I'm going to go with: They are giving it to you (that is, from your perspective, to me).

6) Cecilia siempre lleva su agenda ___.

Like you, I'm an English speaker learning Spanish. I must admit, this one has me stumped. Any chance you typed something wrong, left something out?

No debes___! (traer)

Have another look at number 3 please. Also, ask yourself... you shouldn't bring what?

Ah!! I'm still confused about 1, 2, 6, an 7! I put los for 4 and me for 5, but the others are really messing me up! For 6, that's just how the teacher gave it to us. I have no clue about that. - Jennifer9641, Oct 16, 2017
@jtaniel- She posted this question again. I didn't see yours, so I answered it too. - Daniela2041, Oct 16, 2017
