I had to do this for school a lot. The best way is practicar. Practice describing yourself, friends, families, enemies, assassins, celeberties, etc. You'll pick up the vocabulary you need and catch on to the grammar and structure if you do your research. Good luck!
describe yourself. are you athletic, brave, nice, hard working, strong, patient? or describe whoever the subject is. The best thing you should do is just study and practice speaking and writing it out.
Hello Liliana,
Welcome to Spanishdict ![]()
You asked:
what is the best way to remember spanish phrases describing people.
These points will help you:
1.You would always the verb ser when describing the characteristics of a person in Spanish.
¿Cómo eres? / ¿Cómo es? = What are you like? / What is s/he like?
Soy alto, moreno y artístico = I am tall, brunette and artístic / Ella es baja, inteligente, y muy amable = She is short, intelligent and very kind!
2.Please remember that adjectives generally follow the noun that they qualify (describe) but some precede the noun and sometimes the same adjective can either precede or follow the noun ...but the meaning will change depending upon the exact position of the adjectives!
I would strongly recommend that you take a look at, revise, and fully understand the article about adjective placement in the Spanishdict language guide before taking uour Spanish oral exam! ![]()
