Adverb placement

How to place the adverb in Spanish? Is it before or after the adjective ? For example to say
I have very long hair - is it ' Tengo el pero muy largo' or ' Tengo muy el pero largo' ?

Well, in reality it is the same placement.
I have very long hair.
tengo el pelo muy largo
The adjective in Spanish is normally placed after the noun, but the adverb has the same placement, as it modifies the adjective.
