Entering reflexive verbs in flashcards
When I enter a reflexive verb like irse in a flashcard set I am creating, the "se" is ignored and I am given the meaning of the remaining part, in this example "ir". Thus the meaning given is "to go". Yet if I enter "go away" in English and ask for the Spanish, I do get "irse". How to I enter "irse" to get "go away" as the translation?

Personally, I would never trust the automatic translation, and always just type in what I wanted in both boxes. Many words have more than one translation, and it would depend on the theme of the flashcards.
For instance if I type in the English word “lime” I think it would give me “cal”. If I was doing this in a gardening set, I could keep that, as “cal” can refer to the quicklime that I put on my lawn to “sweeten” ie de-acidify it.
But if I was doing a set for fruit, it would just be wrong. I like limón verde there, but it depends on region.
You can type what you want for both columns and ignore or override the automatic. Then the meaning on your cards will be the exact one you want to learn.
