A dicho meaning what? Where is it most used in Spanish Speaking world?

Are you looking for its use just as in dicho? There are so many sayings with bread.

Said about a person it means they are kind and a pleasure to deal with. I know it is used in Spain, but I don't know about other Spanish speaking countries. There is a phrase book on this site, but I don't know if it says how common the sayings are.

Somewhere I often check is an Erasmus site which usually has sayings from Spain.

Here is a link to the phrase ser un pedazo de pan, which is the same.
