I have a northern English accent. I know my Spanish accent is terrible lol, but people do appear to understand me ...... well either that or they are just being kind haha

Billy, fue un poco corto y la parte de español duró menos de quince segundos. Entendí muy bien el principio y el final. Creo que en el medio hablas de que tu equipo perdió pero no me doy cuenta del nombre del equipo.
Si todo es como yo digo, lograste pasarte mensaje . ¡Bravo!
I am answering this so that it doesn't get lost with all the spam!
My recording was a first take - I suppose, exactly the way I would say it in real life .... ie no practise ......... just spit it out.
On play back, I can hear some errors in pronunciation myself lol, but I wanted the recording to be authentic and not manufactured .... that is how we speak in real life conversations!
I will open a thread for checking recordings, where I will correct myself or any other native speaker.. I will give a topic, so everybody has the same chance.
What a great idea, Billy! It's neat to hear people's voices that you usually only see in print. I had forgotten what Heidita sounds like until her killer audio thread, too. I had to listen to yours a couple of times to understand han pasado mejores fin des but I'm not sure if that's because of the pronunciation or because I don't think that I've heard "fin des" before even though I know that some folks shorten fin de semana like that. Everything else I understood just fine.
Billy, te entiendo bien el inglés (veo mucho Escape to the Country, Antiques Roadshow, Grand Designs, the Hairy Bikers, Nigella Lawson, y montones de programas sobre construcción, reformas, cocina y viajes) y bien el español. Para algunos detallitos tuve que escuchar dos veces.
Como dijo Polenta, te sugiero hacer audios más largos, de dos minutos en español, aunque sean a bit scripted, were you needing it.
I dont hear English English very often, so the recording was quite entertaining. I understood the Spanish (from Spain) perfectly, although it is obvious that you are not a native speaker. If I didnt know beforehand that you were English, I dont think I could guess your native tongue.
Re: humor
I absolutely adore English humor, especially the gross understatements.
You have a southern English accent & a Peninsular Spanish vernacular using a vosotros conjugation.
I would highly recommend going through all 50 topics here on the alphabet - https://studyspanish.com/pronunciation/lessons/spanish-alphabet. This is something I did in my first year of learning spanish and it helped me a lot. A vast majority of people's struggles with pronunciation goes back to a lack of strong foundation in learning the alphabet and learning it well.
