HI Delmi, Welcome to the forum 
Yes you can, even though if you want to leave it, why not? Sometimes it is useful to have another account in case you can't log in, for some reason, in your other account.
To cancel your account,go you your userpage and click on "edit" beside your name.
Scroll down and you will see three options:
Return To My Profile
Don't Send Me E-mail
Delete My Profile
