Asking for help with correction of very important passage

Question

Dear friends. My name is Vadim Eelen and on October 3rd I am traveling to Peru to meet with group of healers who I hope can help me with my grief. I do not speak Spanish but I must to say the text below to the healer in Spanish myself. I translated this text form English to Spanish using Google translate but I know it is not perfect Spanish. Will some one please can help to correct the grammar I would be greatly appreciate your help. So here it is: Estimado señor. No hablo español pero aprendí estas palabras porque lo que voy a decirte debo decirte yo mismo. Hace once meses morí en el mundo que viví antes y no nací aún en el nuevo. Un gran agujero creció en mi alma y en mi corazón y estoy sufriendo tremendamente. Hace cuatro meses vino el espíritu a mí y dijo: encuentra al sanador que te dará el nuevo nacimiento. Le pregunté al Espíritu, ¿cómo encuentro al sanador que me pueda ayudar? Dijo que le mostrara la foto y si sabrá lo que eso significa que es el sanador que le ayudará. Durante los últimos cinco meses, he estado buscando al sanador en las tribus nativas de los Estados Unidos y no puedo encontrar al sanador, entonces estaba buscando al sanador en la tribu Maya en México y no puedo encontrar al sanador. Your Spanish is quite understandable, the most significant error I noticed was that you use the familiar form vis. "decirte in the first few sentences. To show respect we use the formal form "usted" and the indirect object pronoun "le" "decirle" would show the proper respect. You in other places did use the correct form.

One other thing I noticed was "morí en el mundo que viví antes" which I would change to: "Morí en el mundo en que vivía antes." "viví" is not incorrect, but I believe that "vivía" is closer to what the English is saying.

When you say "el espíritu" are you talking about a particular spirit? if not "un" espíritu would be better.

Some of what you say is close to Christian teaching. I know a Salvador/Sanador who can give you the "new birth" but this forum is not the place to be talking about it. If you are interested in learning about Jesus Christ, I can give you good information in a private message.

If you wish help from a Buddhist perspective our Moderator Ray76 is a teacher in that field.

Thank you kindly for your help! On the top of my struggle with Spanish, my English definitely could be better. I grew up in Uzbekistan and my native language is Russian. That being said you are absolutely right “reborn” would be more accurate. - Vadim5122

You are dead...and not born...that sounds definitely odd. Or did you mean "now"? I guess that would be reborn?
