Spam??? Posts in Q & A

Question

Not sure where to post this so I hope the message gets to the correct department.

Just opened up the Q&A section and I have loads of spam/porn type messages.

I am sure this is not normal!!

I know...Sorry Caza. The moderators are working with SD admins on a solution. If you see one of these, you can either flag it, or just do nothing. When I see it I will delete it. - rac1, Sep 27, 2017

Ray is by himself most of the night, and because of the tine zone (most of the spammers are from India and China) they are more active at that time. - 00fac92a, Sep 27, 2017

Querida amiga, volviendo muy poco tiempo atrás a este lugar, no sabes que tenemos una o quizás diferentes personas malvadas que atacan nuestro querido lugar. Los moderadores pobres tienen mucho trabajo para hacer el orden, para borrar esta basura. No podemos entender este mal sin sentido.

Dear friend, returning very short time ago to this place, you do not know that we have one or maybe different evil people who attack our beloved place. Poor moderators have a lot of work to make order, to erase this garbage. We can not understand this senseless evil.

This is why I said not to open them. I remember seeing this post from Ian..

ian-hill Be careful with these threads. - Don't open them amigos. While banning the latest 2 my PC screen went black and then came back with everything in maximum size. I had to power off and back on again. Also got a messages saying I was running out of memory - this has happened more than once and only when I am banning these spammers.. They will be deleted soon. WE are lucky that they are not the 1000s of Arabic threads we had for a long while. And the Korean ones.

Hi Caza, yes, this is a sad situation. Folks are not commenting on it now because unfortunately we are all 'used to it' and the poor mods spend tons and tons of time doing nothing but getting rid of this junk. Do not bother to open it and flag it, because some folks have ended up with computer problems simply by opening it. Just leave it to our long-suffering mods.

No, you are wrong about that, amiga. I have never had pc problems for going in and deleting it, so it is fine to flag it. You will not be affected by that. - rac1, Sep 27, 2017
