El “solo/sólo” no muere

El “solo/sólo” no muere

Yo sé que no hay que usar la tilde a menos que sea caso de ambigüedad, según la RAE. Yo leí todos mensajes empezando con 2009.

Sin embargo, me queda una pregunta: ¿es incorrecto usar la tilde aunque no sea requerida por la RAE?

Bigote, the idea is to be consistent with the pronunciation rules in Spanish.

Palabras llanas with only two syllables don't have an accent unless they have a specific ending . So why should solo? it is not reasonable. That's the reason why the tilde was eliminated.

Because I've been writing it that way for more than 40 years. There is a difference in meaning. Is the RAE going to recommend dropping the accent from "dé"? It would save ink. - DonBigoteDeLaLancha, Sep 26, 2017

Hello!

These four links from this site was discussed before.

Almost 2 months ago, I'm not sure if you still remember replying to the thread created by Sassette.

Hope this helps.

Regards!
