Need some help with a phrase

Hi,

I've stumbled across a phrase in Spanish, namely "Para el amor inalcanzable" and to be honest, my Spanish sucks, so my question is - what does it mean? With my poor skills the result I got was something along the lines of "for unattainable love", am I horribly far off with that meaning? If it is of any help I stumbled across it in the context of poetry.

Well the thing with online translators are that they're hit and miss at the best of times, so the only persons who can actually tell if the translation is any good are the people who don't need to use them in the first place. - Amira8491

Thanks for posting...we all know that translators are helpful...but unlike a native speaker, they are machines and make mistakes a machine makes.

I am surprised to say the least that somebody would send you to a translator instead of giving you an answer.

Margarita and taniel did give you an answer. I am a native speaker, your attempt looks perfect. Which proves that your Spanish doesn't "suck" at all

how about:

for a love out of reach/beyond reach

An impossible love

If it's in the dedication of a book or poem, or the poem's title, I agree with Heidita's suggestions:

"For that out of my reach love"

"For that love beyond my reach"

The site's translator works pretty good for this one. All you have to do is type it and hit translate. Doesn't seem to complicated, does it?
