Algunos son los que aún no se tornan a otro color. ¿Es tu pregunta una tarea escolar?
Is this a homework assignment? A dictionary is a useful tool. Try naming some....using the dictionary... peas, green beans, string beans, endive, etc.
I just discovered this question.
Well, this is not really as easy at it seems.
In Spain we call legumbres the following:
![]()
These are three types of lentils.
In other countries, legumbres are "verdura" for Spain.
This pops up under the title"Verduras y legumbres en Coyoacán"

Welcome to the forum.
A way to do this type of assignment is go to wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legume
A legume (/?l??ju?m/ or /?l???ju?m/) is a plant or its fruit or seed in the family Fabaceae (or Leguminosae). Legumes are grown agriculturally, primarily for their grain seed called pulse, for livestock forage and silage, and as soil-enhancing green manure. Well-known legumes include alfalfa, clover, peas, beans, chickpeas, lentils, lupin bean, mesquite, carob, soybeans, peanutsand tamarind. Fabaceae is the most common family found in tropical rainforests and in dry forests in the Americas and Africa.1
You can even check the Spanish:
https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legumbre
So three that come to mind that are green are green beans, peas, and green lentils. Some cover crops fall into this class as you see, and all the plants will be green.
Unlike Don Bigote, I would be hesistant to include endive in the technical group.
However if you check a dictionary you will see in some regions in Spanish legumbres verdes can refer more broadly to green vegetables:
http://www.spanishdict.com/translate/legumbres
legumbre
NOUN
- (general)
a. pulse, pod vegetable
legumbres secas-dried pulses
legumbres verdes-green vegetables
And in this group I think you could include endive.
