This jockey is not about to fall off his horse, but is demonstrating the new way to ride a horse as a stuntman! It is very dangerous unless you know exactly what you are doing! He is an apprentice so we hope that he has learnt his trade well!"

Thus is demonstrated centrifugal force. In a blink of the eye our hapless one will discover gravitational force.

In riding, we call this a gravity-assisted unintentional dismount. Unfortunately, I have had too many of these to count.

Thank you so much for the correction. I wrote it several different ways and none of them "looked" right. - Echoline, Sep 8, 2017

Riding is a dangerous sport, just like a motorcycle, so wearing a helmet is mandatory in both cases.

I have to remember when we get things in English, I need to think of the pronominal verb formed from the equivalent of the noun I used in English. :) - bosquederoble, Sep 8, 2017

No te preocupes; sólo recibí cadera herida y rostro rojo.

How did you come by this photograph of me in my pasture before I moved to Alaska? Don't worry; I had only a bruised hip and a red face.

I would call the field in which animals graze a pasture. Not so in Spanish? - AnnRon, Sep 8, 2017
ann, look at my correction, there are more mistakes...and not pastura, I don't even know the word - 006595c6, Sep 9, 2017

This is terrible horsemanship. Everybody knows that you dismount a horse on the left side.

I never would have guessed an article was needed here. It was the second sentence I was worried about as what I came up with was so different to what the translator offered. Gracias Heidi :) - jellonz, Sep 8, 2017

The horse trainer fell off because she didn't think the horse could outsmart her.

The horse is running in the wrong direction, so the rider has decided to make an attempt to jump the fence himself.

With corrections:
