"The removal of"

"The removal of"

Hey,

I'm trying to put together a powerpoint presentation, and I'm trying to have the header:

"The removal of bandages"

I can't seem to figure out what verb tense or what specific word I want to have the same meaning as "the removal". Like "The act of removing?" La extraccion? Something else?

Help?

Thanks!

I'd say "como quitar/retirar vendajes". You can add a few words to make it more elegant, as "como quitar/retirar vendajes en forma adecuada"

En el acento tenes razón. Me lo comí. En la otra no. De forma y en forma son ambas correctas - 00fac92a, Sep 7, 2017
en forma es estar en forma...es decir, to be fit... - 006595c6, Sep 7, 2017
retiro lo dicho...en forma adecuada se ve que se dice por tu pueblo, en el mìo no, jeje - 006595c6, Sep 7, 2017
Siempre apurada. :) - 00fac92a, Sep 7, 2017

I agree with my colleague, we are both native speakers:

Cómo retirar vendajes

Or simply, also often seen on the web:

Retirar vendajes

Còmo se quitan los vendajes. How to remove bandages. (ok)

Cómo se retiran los vendajes. The same (ok)

Cómo quitar los vendajes. The same. (ok)

Cómo retirar los vendajes. The same.(ok)

The noun that comes from remove is removal in English. In Spanish we could have the
word " quita" or "el quitar" or " la retirada" or "el retiro". The only one that could sound ok for this case could be "el retiro"
You could say :

El retiro de los vendajes (ok)

Ah I put Al quitar I see it should have been el. I remembered the definite article can be used with the infinitive as a noun - Mardle, Sep 6, 2017
I would have used quitar, too :) - FELIZ77, Sep 9, 2017
