¿Cuál es la diferencia entre un atleta y un deportista?

Para mí, todos los atletas son deportistas, pero no todos deportistas son atletas. Por ejemplo, creo que un cazador es deportista pero no es atleta. Iguales son los que practican el tiro a blanco, Ah,conductores y pilotos que hace competencia son deportistas, pero no los considero atletas. La lista es larga.

I would say in the US, a soccer player is an athlete. I have no idea about cricket. One could argue about golfers, even more about bowling. But if you have to be in top physical shape for the sport you are generally an athlete in the US. - bosquederoble, Sep 1, 2017
