'atole con el dedo'
Can anyone tell me about this phrase. I am reading Carlos Fuentes' Los años con Laura Díos' and I think it means playing tricks. I understand atole is a cornflour based hot drink. Is is commonly used nowadays? The whole phrase is 'es puro atole con el dedo' Thanks
